JR Sports Therapy & Pilates is a allied health clinic located near to the centre of Wigan. We are Graduate Sports Therapists that have undergone expert training & learning, studying for a minimum of three year at University. Our Pilates learning & training has been with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) specifically designed for Therapists who treat & work with a clinical population both on a 1:1 basis & small group classes.

I have my birthday celebrations & my best friends wedding 💒 all in this amazing month!

🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

Today was my last day in the studio for 2025, now its time to get ready to go & have an Aussie Christmas in the sun 🇦🇺🦘🐨 ☀️.

Thank you to each & everyone of you that has supported my business & been through the doors of the studio this year 💫

It certainly has been a year of growth & working towards what really aligns with me.

Excited to see what 2026 has in store 🤍

The final month of 2025, I can’t believe how quick this year has gone.

As many of you will already know I am heading down under to Australia for Christmas & New Year this year 🇦🇺.

My last working day of 2025 will be 16th December & the studio will reopen again on the 12th January (hopefully not too jet lagged 🥱)

In the month of September there was a total of 106 Caesareans at WWL Hospital.

Of which 46 were elective & 60 that were emergency C-Sections.

But how many of those 106 women will have received the appropriate aftercare & follow up?

Not just within the first 6 weeks post caesarean but in the months & even years to come.

Not only was it a privilege to be attending the first scar symposium a couple of weeks back. But it was huge to be able to listen & understand a surgeons perspective & what actually happens during a C-Section. Not only to get the baby out safely but what happens afterwards also.

Your Caesarean scar could be impacting you more than what you think?
