So many of us carry tension in the neck and upper back — but true relief comes from building strength with control, not force.
In Pilates, shoulder stability involves gently activating the muscles that support your joints, which helps improve posture, reduce tension, and protect against injury.
🧘♀️ Focus on: • Keeping shoulders relaxed away from your ears
• Slow, controlled arm movements
• Gentle activation through the upper back
• Deep 4x4 breath — inhale for 4, exhale for 4
✨ Try this: Lying or seated, slowly raise your arms… pause… then lower with control.
Notice the difference when you slow it down and connect to your breath.
Less tension. More support. Better movement 💫
