The Alan Holt ABC Memorial League

This league stands as a tribute to the memory of Alan Holt, who is dearly missed by all who knew him.
The league will run on the usual points tally basis, 20 for a win, 10 for second etc. Hopefully you'll be able to sort this yourself on Plaza when you enter the show, but until we ask them and get an answer you need to tell Kenny in the marquee where you were placed.

The points qualification requirements are specifically for Large & Intermediate ABC dogs, as these were the classes Alan competed in.

Points will be gained throughout the year with a perpetual trophy presented at the August show. The league will start at the show in September.

We lost Alan in 2019 and for nearly 30 years he was a huge part of the agility family, be it judging or competing. Firstly with his GSD then latterly with his Tollers.

Please join us in celebrating the memory of a very special person

Ex-Hire Jumps

Update at 19:00 on 28/08
Only 1 jump left subject to the rest being paid for and collected.

We have a number of ex-hire wooden jumps for sale. All are structurally sound but could do with a coat of paint to tidy them up. All come as a complete jump with feet, pole cups and a 1.5m pole. £35 each.

They weren't photographed before they went back onto the lorry at the end of the show.

We can bring them on the lorry for collection at the September show at Knayton on the 12th to the 15th. After that they'll be on Ebay.

Baltese Cross rules update
This is effective as of now and will be in force for the September 2025 show onwards as some doggies aren't too keen on doing four tunnels.

The “Baltese” Cross Q

A little nod of appreciation to our Director of Results, Pauline, who did more for agility than most of you will ever realise.

A fast flowing jumping course that will contain jumps and tunnels only. The course time will be at least 60 seconds. There will be a maximum of two tunnels in the ring. The course will traverse through the centre of the course in a cross shape. The orientation and shape of the cross will be at the discretion of the judge in their course design. Results for this class will be separate for each of the heights. Jump heights will be L/I//M/S & Micro. Dogs run at their normal height except Veterans and Anysize dogs who must run at micro (200mm) height. This class counts towards qualification for the “Baltese” Cross Final which will be held on Sunday 23rd August 2026 when the show has closed.. In order to earn league points, your dog must run in the heats at their KC measured height. Micro dogs can still run in the class and won’t earn league points but will still be awarded their trophy/rosettes.The finalists will be the top 30 dogs from the league table which will be compiled after each qualifying heat. The final will be placed to third with trophies. The final winner will also receive £150 in cash. You must be entered in the show on the day of the final to run.
