2026/2027 Charity

We will be raising funds this year and next for Cancer Research UK.
The collecting tins will be in the marquee as usual for when items come in to be charged up.

Helpers lists for Saturday 14th Feb and Sunday 15th Feb. Thank you to everyone that has offered. If anyone can spare an hour to let helpers check on dogs , walk courses , run their dogs etc it would be really appreciated, please message me . Shows cannot run without you lovely people. There will be measuring for entered competitors at the Easter show , May , July , August and September shows .

Easter 2026

The Easter show is now available to enter on Plaza.

Dates are 3rd to 7th of April at the stunning venue of Newby Hall.

Qualifiers for Longfield Novice, Baltes Cross, "Norton Rosettes" Steeplechase Showdown, Helter Skelter and Longfield ABC Jumping.

The juniors league restarts and is once again sponsored by "Up North" Agility. Don't forget the junior that wins the league gets to watch their responsible adult collect £50 on their behalf. They will also receive the perpetual shield which they can get engraved and look after for a year.

As usual, all camping goes onto a waiting list for the judges and helpers to be sorted out first. Without them it'd be pretty difficult to run the show.

There will be luxury showers on site. These will be available as long as the generator is running.

We can charge items in the marquee for a small donation to charity. It will be a cancer charity again this year, we're just finalising which one.

Any newbies, please read the show notes. They should make your time with us a bit easier.

February 2026 Show

The February 14th and 15th show is now live on Plaza for entries.

What could be possibly be more fun than a spot of do***ng on Valentines Day at Northallerton Equestrian Centre.

Qualifiers for Longfield Novice, Helter Skelter Final, "Norton Rosettes" Steeplechase Showdown Final and the Longfield ABC Jumping Final.

Longfield ABC Jumping Qualifier

For 2026 we will be running an ABC jumping qualifier class, compiling a league table and ending with a final on September 13th at our Driffield show. The top 30 dogs in the league will be invited to run in the final. As with all our other finals there will be prize money for the winner.

For clarification, we see ABC as anything but a Border Collie or a Working Sheepdog. Crosses are allowed.

It's 20 points for a win, 10 for second, 9 for third etc.

The heats will cater for all heights including micro, but only Large, Intermediate, Medium and Small dogs can claim points. The results will be split between heights with each height being awarded it's own rosettes and trophies.

The qualifiers will be offered to external clubs/shows.

The course will contain weaves and any other standard jumping equipment the judge chooses. The course time will be calculated from the matrix, but will then have an extra 10 seconds added on.

The full rules for the heats will be at the back of the schedule should you wish to see them.

This has no impact on the Alan Holt Memorial League for large and intermediate dogs other than you can claim points for both.

The first heats will be at the February show at Northallerton Equestrian Centre. The schedule will be released on Plaza in a few days.
