Grateful for a beautiful sunshiny day spent roaming around Royden Park learning all about ethical foraging from the expert guidance of Jim
My mind is blown at the amount of plants that were available to forage and eat and how tasty they are, and I would highly recommend doing one of his foraging days 🌱
We learnt how to identify and then eat parts of brambles, white flower, daisies, cow parsley, gorse plant, broom, hawthorn tree, Scot’s pine, green pine, Darwin’s barberry, sticky weed/cleavers, pink purslane, common sorrel, hogweed, rosebay willow herb & more.
Hoping to go and do another day later in the year, but for now I am inspired, thanks Jim!
