🌸 Community Spring Fun Day – What a Success! 🌸

What a truly lovely day we shared together yesterday ☀️

We were delighted to welcome Stella from ‘The Farm on Wheels’ in the morning—bringing along adorable chicks, rabbits, lambs, and goats 🐥🐑🐐

The fun continued out in the sunshine with a variety of garden games, including garden darts, hook-a-duck, sandpit and a Nerf shooting range 🎯 We also got creative by planting our very own cress gardens 🌱

Of course, no celebration is complete without refreshments, and it was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the day together 🍰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special. It was wonderful to see so many new faces at Willow Rose and to share such a joyful experience with you all 💛

Today we’ve been celebrating in true British style with a delightful high tea, filled with delicious treats, warm cups of tea, and plenty of smiles all around. Our reception was alive with the sound of music and chatter as residents enjoyed classic tunes and shared special moments together.

It’s been a wonderful day of laughter, community, and tradition — a perfect way to honour St George’s Day. ❤️

A little glimpse into our afternoon at Willow Rose 🌿☀️

Our residents have been making the most of this beautiful day with some Earth Day-inspired arts and crafts 🎨, enjoying gentle walks in the garden, and simply soaking up the sunshine.

We’ve also been busy in the kitchen 🍓—rolling up our sleeves to prepare our next batch of delicious homemade strawberry jam!

We’ve had so many lovely requests and re-orders recently, which truly means the world to us here at Willow Rose 💛 We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it’s ready to purchase!

Our residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon of knitting, crochet, and plenty of good conversation—creating some beautiful pieces along the way while enjoying each other’s company.

We also had some new residents join in, and they took to it like ducks to water! It just goes to show that you’re never too old to learn something new or discover a hobby you might not have tried before 💕

🌊 Costa del Willow Rose 🌊

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful seaside-inspired experience right here at Willow Rose! From feeling the sand between their toes to creating shells, shapes, and sculptures, it truly brought the beach to us 🏖️

Our activity team spent meaningful 1-to-1 time with residents, both in communal areas and in their rooms, sparking lovely conversations about past holidays abroad and cherished coastal spots here in the UK 💙

The day wouldn’t be complete without classic fish and chips followed by delicious ice cream—all enjoyed to the calming sounds of the waves. A perfect way to bring back some beautiful, nostalgic memories 😊

These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to share ideas for activities, discuss menus, talk about housekeeping, and most importantly, listen to valuable feedback from those who matter most — our residents.

We’re always looking for ways to improve, make positive changes, and ensure we’re providing the very best service possible.
