👣 Join us for a gentle, family-friendly morning of connection, fun, and relaxation!

🏓 11:00am – Games in the park, including table tennis!

This kind of equipment supports people with limited mobility to improve circulation, build strength, and support rehabilitation.

🏋️‍♀️ Gyms aren’t just for fitness – they’re for wellbeing, independence, and a better quality of life.

🌟 Well done to Sureena Brackenridge MP na for championing the voice of families with children with SEND and highlighting how the new Best Start Family Hubs can be just as impactful—if not more—than the original Sure Start centres, when built in collaboration with the community and shaped by their real needs. 💬👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

I’m pleased to see the Labour Government launching the Best Start programme, offering early-years support to families with young children. Because essentially… Sure Start is back 🙌

(And yes, we’re bringing back some of the best bits of the '90s while we’re at it 🎵😉)

🌿 “Are you a w**d or a wildflower?”
It all depends on your environment. 🌎✨

Sometimes we’re made to feel like we don’t belong — like we’re too much, too sensitive, or just “growing in the wrong place.” But like many w**ds, you might just be thriving in the wrong soil.

🌼 Even so-called ‘w**ds’ are beautiful and purposeful:

💛 Dandelions – resilient, healing, and one of the first flowers to feed bees in spring

💜 Purple Deadnettle – soft, strong, and a favourite of pollinators

🌾 Plantain – not showy, but powerful in herbal medicine

🍀 Clover – lush, lucky, and full of nitrogen to feed the earth

🌸 Chicory – bright blue blooms growing through concrete cracks

🧡 Calendula (Marigold) – considered a w**d in some gardens, but valued in others for its healing properties

💚 You are not “too much.”
You are not “a problem to be removed.”
You might just need a different environment — one where your strengths are seen and celebrated.

🌞 Stay Safe in the Warm Weather 🌞

A little sunshine can go a long way, especially for our mental health. ☀️

Soaking up safe amounts of sun helps boost mood, ease anxiety, and improve sleep thanks to natural Vitamin D. But for those with fibromyalgia or heat sensitivity, too much heat can be tough.

💛 Quick Tips to Stay Well:

🌤 Enjoy morning or evening sun

💧 Drink water often

🧢 Wear a hat & loose, light clothes

🧊 Use cooling sprays or a damp cloth

Take breaks. Rest. Be kind to yourself because it’s enough just to be.
