Microneedling is probably my favourite treatment to perform in clinic. Personally, I love it because it’s one of the few treatments that works to stimulate collagen production and gradually improve skin quality over time, rather than offering a quick fix. But it’s also about the process and the products we use. We use professional-grade formulations from DP Dermaceuticals, which allows us to tailor each treatment to every individual client and their needs, whether that’s signs of ageing, pigmentation, texture concerns, acne or overall skin health. Every step of the treatment is designed with intention, from the thorough skin preparation through to the infusion of targeted serums, deep into the skin where it really matters. One of the most satisfying parts of the treatment is achieving the clinical endpoint we’re looking for during the treatment and knowing we’ve stimulated the skin effectively, while still being able to greatly calm and support the skin before the client leaves. Using soothing and restorative products such as the Hyla Active mask (with stone roller massage for 20 minutes), Vitamin Rich Repair Cream, LED therapy (with red and near infra red light) and finally finishing with Cover Recover (to help repair, protect and mask any residual redness), we’re able to reduce redness and support the skin barrier, so clients often leave looking far calmer than they expect.

Over time, with a course of treatments, microneedling can help achieve healthier, stronger, and more radiant skin, in a way that looks natural and, crucially, lasts!

✨🤍 ACE London 2026 🤍✨

Well what a lovely and incredibly informative few days! It’s been absolutely none stop since we arrived on Thursday night but it’s been fantastic. ACE is the Aesthetics Conference & Exhibition which is a 2-day medical aesthetics event which offers invaluable CPD accredited education as well as live demonstrations and exhibits for new products and devices. This is the 2nd time we’ve attended ACE and I always thought conferences sounded incredibly boring but believe me this is so exciting (or at least I think so!). It’s great to get such tailored education from so many experts in so many areas and get to bring everything we’ve learnt back home and put it into practice. It also helps to keep our practices safe and our knowledge up to date, including any changes to any regulations, and is a great opportunity for networking with all the major aesthetics companies.

But for now it’s time head home and we will be back in clinic tomorrow morning ☀️
