Do you suffer from anxiety or would like to be more relaxed in general?⁠

Try this yogic breath, also known as Nadi Shodhana.⁠
It is a powerful tool which can have a profound impact on your mind, body and nervous system.⁠

It's an effective practice to clear the mind and calm the whole self, as well as effectively reducing feelings of anxiety. ⁠
In a study in 2017, researchers asked a group of people with anxiety disorder to try alternate nostril breathing for 10 min , two days in a row. The results showed it was there times more effective than other methods.⁠

Keep things easy for yourself and your daily routine.
Be time efficient.
Prep your food.

If you're struggling with time, pick two days in the week where you have a 1-2 hour window and prep a few meals you can keep in the freezer or fridge for the following days.

This method helps not to buy the wrong things, having takeaways or picking on the wrong food because you have gone big gaps without eating.

Try it for a a couple of weeks and let me know what you notice.

I think it is quite sad we don't see more mummies train in the family gym area at Total Fitness.

Trying to set an example.
I get it, you're less strong, less fit, less lean and your body almost feels like it isn't yours.

Do you have lower back problems?

It is such a common pain, whether you have a desk job, a history of back pain or injury or even in pregnancy.
A common cause for lower back pain is a tight posterior chain (erectors, glutes, hamstrings and calves).

So here is nice flow from Downward Dog into Pigeon Pose.
Keep both hips down and try to keep the from leg parallel with the front of the mat, then you will really feel the stretch in your hips/gluteals.

Wouldn't we all love to have a balance in life?

It is easier said than done though. I am currently trying to balance raising a there month old baby and getting back to work.
Shoutout to all women, that look after children full time, that work part-time or full-time, that are trying to get pregnant or staying strong whilst having difficultly beaming a a mother, and the ones that chose not to have children to pursue other heart desires.

After going through child labour I am more proud myself than I have ever been and would like to acknowledge and praise all women around the world.
isn't it amazing how nature has made us so strong and resilient?!
