Residents Albert and Harold from Murdoch House had a fantastic day out at the Museum of Berkshire Aviation. ✈️

Along with team members Molly and Callum, they explored a fascinating collection of planes, including several historic warplanes.

A standout moment of the day was getting the chance to step inside a plane once flown by Prince Philip.

Harold reflected on the experience, saying: “It was a wonderful day, and I really enjoyed myself.”

Residents and team members at The Granby are always in awe of the incredible talent showcased by St Aelred's Irish Dance School, and their most recent visit was made extra special with a surprise from residents! ✨

As a thank you for all of the fantastic performances and to celebrate the bonds they have built with the dancers, residents made them a St Patrick's Day themed collage with photos of past visits. 💃🎶

The sun is shining, and residents at Brockwell Court are making the most of the beautiful weather! ☀️

Everyone was thrilled to welcome the Scoops N Smiles Ice Cream Van, which made its way into the car park, playing the classic 1970s tune. 🍦🎵

Resident Andrea shared her thoughts on the experience, saying: “It’s been a lovely afternoon, the ice cream was delicious, and it brought back some wonderful memories for me.”

To make the most of the warmer months, Brockwell Court runs a 'Walk Out Wednesday Club,' giving residents the chance to enjoy fresh air and beautiful surroundings.🚶‍♂️

Recently, residents took a leisurely stroll through the local park, soaking in the blooming scenery, listening to the soothing sounds of birdsong, and basking in the lovely weather.

They ended the day with a picnic, fully embracing the sunshine. 🌳☀️

At Abigail Lodge, the team, residents and relatives recently raised £335 for Bonnie, a courageous 5-year-old girl who has been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of childhood cancer called Rhabdoid Sarcoma. This type of cancer only affects eight children each year in the UK.

Moved by Bonnie's story, the team at Abigail Lodge organised a fundraising event, which Bonnie and her family kindly attended. During their visit, our residents had the privilege of meeting Bonnie and her family, and presented them with the funds raised.

In addition to the fundraising event, a GoFundMe page has been set up to support Bonnie’s family with the expenses they are facing during this difficult time.

Bonnie explained: "Any help that anyone can offer would be amazing to help give me the happiest time that I can with the small amount of time I have left."
