Helen was a wonderful source of support and encouragement when I needed it most - holding me accountable for making lifestyle changes that made me feel happier, healthier and more energetic.

I particularly valued Helen's kind, non-judgmental approach and her ideas for healthy swaps that meant I could continue to enjoy my favourite meals, but with healthier versions.

After my husband was classed prediabetic, he began working with Helen too. By following Helen's advice alongside working with his GP, he was able to move back into the healthy range.

Today I went back to the gym for the first time since February.

In February I tore my calf muscle playing padel. The recovery was slow - from not being able to walk at all, to walking with pain, to finally feeling normal again.

I was probably ready to go back weeks ago. But I’d fallen out of the habit and started convincing myself it was too hard.

Last Friday, after the book launch, I was waiting for my train to Brighton and I just… booked the classes. Yoga this week. A commitment to myself.

This morning wasn’t as easy as it used to be. But it also wasn’t as hard as I’d feared. My teacher said take it at your own pace -and that was enough.

I feel a little more like me again. 🧘🏽‍♀️

From the impossible to possible 🏆

Three years ago, I probably would have rather chopped off a finger than stand up and speak in public.

I mean that.

On Friday, I stood on the national finals stage of a public speaking competition and came second. 🥈

After our Show Your Light Collective launch in the morning, I jumped on a train to Brighton to compete in the national finals of a public speaking contest. I’d won my club, area, and regional rounds to get there.

My category - Topics - this is where you’re handed a word or phrase and have to deliver a three-minute speech on the spot. No notes. No prep. Just you.

Sounds terrifying, right? It was. Until I learned the skills to make it less so.

Thats exactly what I teach my clients too.

Whether it’s public speaking or nourishing your body it’s never about willpower. It’s about finding the right strategy, and taking small, simple, achievable steps that quietly transform your life.

Without conquering this fear, I wouldn’t have launched my business!

If something feels impossible right now it might just means you haven’t found your strategy yet.
