Mark Johnson Golf Mark Johnson is a PGA Golf Professional based at Styal Golf Club, Cheshire. I will help you to learn, explore and discover how you can play your best golf.

Coaching is available for everyone from beginners, juniors, amateur, experienced and elite players. My goal is to help you improve your golf and increase your level of understanding and enjoyment of the game. I have 15 years of coaching experience and have worked with all levels of player. I have coached both the Cheshire County Academy Programme and the Cheshire County Programme. I have also setu

p the Styal Golf Juniors Programme which has now produced numerous county level players and England regional players. I have invested many hours into developing myself as a coach and recently focused more on how motor skills are learnt and developed. I have specialised in the many aspects of golf improvement including, physical fitness for golf (physiotherapy and strength and conditioning), Trackman, 3D motion analysis, high speed video, psychology and peak performance.

We have a host of Easter sessions for all juniors over the holidays. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and hit the golf course!

We have taster sessions, Par 3 half days and full days and main course completions too. Members and non members welcome and we’d love to see some familiar faces we haven’t seen for a while.

Massive congratulations to for winning the St.Andrew’s Boys’ Open!

Sam shot -1 in the stroke play (tied 3rd out of 160) to go through to the Matchplay stages and proceeded to win every match!
Such a hard worker at golf and life, deserves every bit of this win. Also, the most modest golfer I’ve had the joy of coaching. Well done Sam, looking forward to the next chapter.

I’ve resumed coaching although I have limited availability for morning sessions only. No groups just yet, one to one private sessions only.
