New CPD-accredited training from TEC Quality!

TSA’s assurance partner, TEC Quality, has launched their new CPD-accredited training as part of the Quality Standards Framework (QSF) helping the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) workforce build confidence, competence, and consistency. The early feedback is in and this is what the learners said:

🌍 Empowering Aging in Place – Technology Transforming Care

Yesterday, TSA was honoured to attend Empowering Aging in Place at Canada House, London, where our Chief Executive Officer, Alyson Scurfield, delivered the keynote speech on “How Technology is Transforming the Health Care Landscape.”

This joint Canada–UK forum explored how technology and innovation can better support seniors to age in place, enabling people to live well and independently for longer.

Alyson’s keynote brought to life the real-world impact of applying whole systems thinking to health, through Pam’s story, a powerful illustration of how integrated, technology-enabled care can make a meaningful difference to people’s lives.

Her message was delivered in parallel with the work of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) and TSA Blueprint, with a focus on how Transforming Social Care and unlocking the Power of Proactive and Preventative Care can reinforce our shared ambition to build a more connected, compassionate, and person-centred care system.

Alyson also emphasised the importance of having clarity in defining the problem statement before applying solutions, recognising interoperability as an essential part of effective integration, and embedding a lens of culture and collaboration across all levels of care and technology design.

A huge thank you to Canada - United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce and all speakers and panelists for an inspiring and forward-thinking discussion on the future of aging well.

✨ Membership Wrap Up ✨

It’s been a busy and brilliant week for TSA!

Henry Lockett & Shantelle Million-Lawson joined the Sheffield City Council TEC Marketplace, demoing the Virtual Home with fantastic engagement from staff, partners and leaders. A huge thank you to Sheffield City Council for hosting such an inspiring event!

Gemma Oliver attended Taking Care’s “Connect Live! Delivering Smarter Care through Partnerships” event in Worcester, great to see so many TSA Members exhibiting and sharing their work alongside Taking Care, Worcestershire County Council and Hereford & Worcester ICB.

Charlotte Findlay & Gemma Oliver presented at Derbyshire County Council’s TEC Week, showcasing how TEC supports greater independence for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

Tim Mulrey chaired an update session on the VM02 2G closure. On the back of this is as we head towards October, if any organisations are unclear or have questions regarding the 2G closure please reach out to membership@tsa-voice.org.uk so we can support you!
