TSA has worked to establish strong oversight mechanisms and direct dialogue with stakeholders to ensure no changes to the VMO2 network proceed without adequate protection for vulnerable users.

A key focus has been ensuring that any risk mitigation efforts do not inadvertently stall the sector’s progress toward the digital switchover. TSA has balanced urgent risk response with a longer-term commitment to digital transformation.

In a recent blog for Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) our CEO Alyson Scurfield, shared all about our campaign and what it means for local authorities.

"When I speak to local authorities about Technology Enabled Care (TEC), one of the issues that often comes up is awareness, or lack of it."

Sarah Alden, PhD's research highlighted that people and their relatives didn't use technical terminology or acronyms when discuss how TEC helped them instead focusing on phrases like 'providing support when I go out’ or ‘living well in my home’ were repeatedly used, rather than ‘GPS tracking device’ or ‘lifestyle monitoring system’.

A change in narrative is needed to focus on 'The everyday help we need, to enjoy the lives we want'

At TSA, we are proud to support – 30 June to 4 July – Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE’s) annual celebration of the power of co-production to design and develop better ways of doing things in social care.

Co-production is at the heart of everything we do to support the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) sector, bringing together diverse voices to ensure everyday lives are enriched, enhanced, and enabled by care driven through technology.

Our recent collaboration with Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) on "Unlocking the Power of Proactive and Preventative Care Services - A Practical Blueprint for Planning, Implementing and Scaling Up" is a clear example of co-production in action. This work was shaped by insights from over 100 voices across the social care landscape, including:
