THIS IS ME.
It’s taken me nearly 36 years to truly accept who I am — a little different, a little funny, sometimes moody, but always someone who works hard, tries their best, and cares deeply- probably too deeply at times.
I haven’t always got life right. But I’ve learned, adapted, and come back stronger every single time. Resilience is something I carry with pride.
I spent 11 years working at McDonald’s to put myself through university while studying medicine. A journey that shaped my work ethic and determination.
Growing up wasn’t always easy. I was bullied for having a voice that didn’t sound like everyone elses and was always told I was too fat. When my parents divorced when I was 11, my mum told me my first reaction was crying and asking, “How do I look after everyone now?” That feeling of wanting to help, of caring deeply for others, has never left me.
Today, I’m a husband, a father, a hardworking GP, and an aesthetics doctor.
The point of this post? To remind anyone reading that we’re all different — and that’s something to embrace. Life doesn’t always give us the easiest start, but we can still become someone we’re proud of.
I’m proud of the person I’ve become. I am someone who genuinely cares and strives to make a difference in the lives of others, every single day.
