Dreading the Christmas season when you’re trying to hit your fitness goals? Don’t be!

It can be a daunting thought but it doesn’t have to be, if you’ve started but you’re worried about losing your routine, DON’T!
Enjoy your Xmas, smash some mince pies down you and don’t feel guilty for it! Just don’t go over crazy with it🐷 if you haven’t started yet I’d advise starting now, not in January!

January is the worst time to try and start in my opinion, the gyms will be hectic a few weeks in and it’s likely going to stall you a bit! Get in through December to get the ball rolling whilst it’s a bit quieter! If your gym shy this is also a perfect time to start🙌🏼

The gyms are only shut for a few days during Xmas so use those days to refuel and spend some quality time with loved ones, once the gyms are back open do what suits you best, your family may not fully support you going to the gym during this time of year but don’t let that stop you, if it’s important to you, do it - it’s only an hour out of your day!

Last but not least, learn to say no to things and not feel guilty for it! It can be a busy time of year with social events, drinking, meals out etc and this can be difficult to navigate for people new to losing weight, if you would feel happier not doing some of these things because of your goals, say no and just explain why - most will understand!🙂
