⭐️ MEET LUCY – Before joining Guardian Angels Lucy was a childminder and also worked for a record company – how exciting!

Lucy says “I work at Guardian Angels part time and in my spare time I’m currently studying for a divine feminine diploma (which I’ve nearly finished) I love yoga and meditation, travel, music and going to gigs. Soon my family and I will be getting a Norwegian Elkhound puppy. I love anything a bit spooky but hate anything to do with technology. I enjoy helping people and feeling like I’ve made a difference. I enjoy learning about different people, their lives and their backgrounds.

Lucy is a natural carer and has a gentle way of communicating. She is currently about to embark on an NVQ journey and were very excited and proud of her.

💟Thank you, Lucy, for being one of our quality team of Angels 💟

⭐️ MEET MARZENA – As well as being one of the fantastic team of CareAngels that work in evenings, Marzena also works in the employability and legal sector full time, but her heart wanted something more meaningful!

Marzena says “I have a grown-up daughter who doesn’t need much support anymore, and living in London without close family nearby, I really missed my grandparents and parents. That’s what inspired me to step into care. Caring for older people quickly became more than just a job for me; it became part of my life. Being useful and supporting others is what matters most, and there’s nothing more rewarding than going to bed knowing that someone vulnerable has been cared for, supported, and made to feel safe. Caring is about kindness, connection, and making a real difference, even in the smallest ways. I love learning about antiques and discovering how to upholster. I enjoy giving old things a new lease of life”

Marzena is a kind and friendly carer who has time for everyone, whether it be those extra few minutes for a cuppa and a chat or to support with something extra.

💟Thank you, Marzena, for being one of our professional team of Angels 💟

⭐️ MEET MORVARID - Before joining the team at Guardian Angels Morvarid was HR manager at one of the largest holding companies in Iran, and she also previously worked in the Post Office. Morvarid means ‘pearl’ in Persian!

Morvarid says “I’ve always been passionate about connecting with people, understanding their needs and supporting them. That same passion led me into care, because I truly believe it’s a continuation of that human-centred, supportive path. Here, I have the opportunity to support others in a direct and meaningful way and that sense of purpose means a lot to me. I can’t start my day without a cup of tea, even in summer. Also, I’m actually scared of cats even the cute ones!”

Morvarid is quick thinking carer often going out of her way to get things that a client needs such as shopping or medication, or visiting them in hospital.

💟Thank you, Morvarid, for being one of our professional team of Angels 💟

⭐️ MEET YULIYA - Before joining our Guardian Angel team, Yuliya had a background of ventilation and air conditioning in her home country of Belarus. Her path to caregiving is a testament to her personal growth and desire to connect.

Yuliya says: “I moved to London 3 years ago with my husband and 2 daughters, knowing barely any English. Missing my parents back home, I found immense satisfaction in caring for others. I became a carer to bridge my need for connection and to make a positive impact. Establishing relationships and making a difference in people's lives is incredibly fulfilling for me. I really enjoy the challenges and the deep connections I create. I also adore travel, especially the thrill of plane journeys and the quirky airplane meals - exploring new places fuels my soul!”

Yuliya is a wonderful carer who easily connects with her clients and builds relationships. Her tech skills are widely known with her clients who often ask her for her to support them.

💟 Thank you, Yuliya, for being one of our professional team of Angels 💟

⭐️ MEET STEPHEN – Before joining our Guardian Angels team Stephen was a security guard in Qatar. Sound like fun!

Stephen says” My journey into care was inspired by personal experience. Caring for my sick father and grandfather showed me how challenging life can be without the right support. Witnessing their struggles motivated me to make a difference in the lives of individuals with care needs, offering compassion, dignity, and understanding. Outside of work, I enjoy watching off-road motorsports and have a keen eye for colour, with cream and light blue being my favourites.

Stephen co-ordinates well with both staff and colleagues and is known for his determination and commitment to always doing his very best.

💟Thank you, Stephen, for being one of our compassionate team of Angels 💟

⭐️ MEET SAMIRA - Before joining our Guardian Angel family Samira worked in photography and interior design. She moved to London from Iran with her husband and daughter, who is a budding martial artist.

Samira says: “When I started working in care, it was completely new to me, and the early days were emotionally tough - but I soon realised how much I love it. Helping others, even just with a shower or a smile in the morning, brings me real joy and purpose. Fun fact about me, Mine and my husband’s cooking is popular among family and friends - we say the secret ingredient is love (and maybe a bit of spice!) Also, I don't know why but I’ve never got along well with cats.”

Samira is a kind and friendly carer, who has gone from strength to strength, and going that extra mile for her clients, including nipping out to get flowers when a client’s husband was devasted that he had forgotten his wife’s birthday.

💟 Thank you, Samira, for being one of our reliable team of Angels 💟

⭐️ MEET KELLY - Before joining our wonderful Guardian Angel team, Kelly was a nanny and worked in a care home. She works part time as she has a lovely young son that she takes care of too. Her son Jenson is an aspiring footballer!

Kelly says: “I have always had the passion to look after the elderly but had not really looked further into it, however when I lost my job as a nanny due to Covid-19, I decided to give it a go and I’m so glad I did! I plan on doing it for a long time if possible. I was born in Wandsworth and I love dancing!”

Kelly is a very popular carer and has many clients that absolutely adore her. This is mostly due to her easy going and friendly approach to everyone and her willingness to spend that extra time to help.

💟 Thank you, Kelly, for being one of our friendly team of Angels 💟

⭐️ Meet Shelley - Before joining Guardian Angels, Shelley cared for many people, including family and friends, and has also supported individuals at end of life - a role that is truly a privilege.

Shelley says: “Working in the care sector is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. The Guardian Angel team feels like one big family, and I really love meeting new clients and their families, as well as working alongside different carers and health professionals. I have an autistic son with complex hidden disabilities, but I don’t feel like a carer - I’m just a mum! I have two dogs and six cats - I must be mad! My hobbies include walking and reading.”

Shelley was truly born to be a carer - you can see it in the way she engages with her clients and works so naturally with her colleagues.

💟 Thank you, Shelley, for being one of our professional team of Angels 💟

⭐️MEET ELISA - Before joining the Guardian Angels family, Elisa worked for another care agency. What was meant to be a short stop-gap role quickly turned into a career she truly loves - and we’re so glad it did! Elisa is currently embarking on her NVQ journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of her.

Elisa says: “Before care, I worked in Sainsbury’s and call centres, which I never enjoyed. When I was a child, I wanted to be a nurse. I absolutely love my job and wouldn’t change it for all the tea in China. I can’t see myself ever doing anything else. Being a CareAngel is amazing. My favourite colour is pink, and I’m known as the crazy cat lady - in my next life, I’d love to come back as a cat!”

Elisa is a wonderful CareAngel who truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and we’re incredibly grateful that she continues to enjoy and thrive in her role.

💟 Thank you, Elisa, for being one of our quality team of Angels 💟
