The Death Card
The Death Card has layers of meanings.
Perhaps it is best to think of it as the fear of death.
The card is not only about physical death.
Often it says the end of something.
It may be telling you that a relationship has come to an end, or that you should break a bad habit or that your stay in that home is over, or that your job is at a dead end.

The Prison Card
Psycards works by images, metaphors and similes.
It is unlikely you are in prison, but you may feel that it applies to one aspect of your life or someone else's.
Prison can mean being trapped into a relationship or a marriage that seems like a life sentence.
You may be shackled by disability or ill health.
Your job may be a dead end or a constriction of your real talents and of course poverty is a prison too.
Some of the questions the Prison Card asks is what crime you are in for, were you guilty of it and who is your gaoler.
Very often as individuals we get punished by the consequences of our actions.
Very often we punish ourselves through feelings of guilt and shame.

The Stranger Card
The Stranger Card has several linked messages for us.
Dreams are one.
We are told that dreams come from the unconscious.
It is only in the last hundred years that we started talking about the unconscious and maybe it is a way of avoiding another truth, known to our ancestors for some 10,000 years.
God or angels or guardian spirits or outside intelligences speak to us in dreams.
The Stranger Card tells us to listen, listen, listen to the garbled messages that get through to us.

17. The Libido Card
The Libido Card shows us that we are built for joy and happiness and we can find it.
We seek pleasure; we shun pain. It is natural and right.
Think of pleasure as energy to fuel us in the way that gasoline fuels a car.
So the card tells us to remember our own nature and trust in it.
It tells us to go and play.
It points us to fulfil ourselves in both our romantic and sexual aspects.
You can't do your work properly if you don't enjoy it.

The Fortune Card
The message of the Fortune Card is to stay faithful to your own destiny.
It is pointing you up the winding stair to find your own unique path that ascends upwards to your higher self and your own inner development.
It is telling you to have faith in yourself and its message is not to be down-hearted by negative thinking and criticism.

The Inquirer Card
The Inquirer Card tells us that we are embarking on a journey of inner knowledge.
At the Oracle at Delphi in Ancient Greece the words 'Know Yourself' were inscribed because any understanding of hopes, futures and healing of ourselves has to come from self-awareness.
When the card occurs it reminds us that we are seekers of truth, explorers of our own psychic landscape. It demands honesty and humility.
It tells us to be open to new ideas this of course, means transcending the ego.
The ego is bossy in many cases it seeks to edge out the other parts of your nature.
The wise seeker will not let the ego dominate.
The Psycard of the day is:-
The Father Card
What are the qualities of an ideal father?
He must protect his child from danger.
He must provide sustenance for his child. He must have authority.
He must love the mother. He must teach the child and love him or her.
We all measure the real father against the ideal.
So the Father Card asks us to bring to mind our own real father and what he has or has not done for us.
Our reactions are governed by our upbringing, our position in the family as siblings and our specific situation.
We may have feelings of affection, admiration, humour or anger.
may raise thoughts about the nuclear family and how well it has worked in our case but we need to know what we feel.
