🔬 Science Meets Touch in CranioSacral Therapy

This study brings fresh insight into the cranial rhythmic impulse (CRI).

By combining expert palpation with advanced physiological tracking tools, researchers found strong correlations between palpated CRI rhythms and measurable autonomic nervous system activity.

This strengthens the credibility of manual assessment while opening the door to new ways of refining therapeutic techniques.

💡 A step forward in showing that what we feel with our hands can reflect the body’s natural rhythms.

The lumbar plexus is a network of nerves in the lower back that plays a crucial role in motor and sensory functions of the lower limbs and pelvic region. It innervates important muscles and provides sensation to the skin of the thighs, legs, and feet. Understanding this nerve network is vital for diagnosing and treating lower back pain and related conditions. Proper care and awareness can help maintain mobility and overall health.

Have you ever thought about how your tongue could be affecting your posture even all the way down to your feet?

What if something as simple as where your tongue rests in your mouth could influence your body’s alignment, balance, and even breathing?

The tongue is more than just a muscle for speaking and eating, it’s deeply connected to the body through fascia, an intricate web of connective tissue that links the tongue to the feet.

When your tongue isn’t positioned correctly due to mouth breathing, it can disrupt this entire system, leading to imbalances in posture, spinal alignment, and even how much energy your body uses throughout the day.

Could improving tongue posture be the missing key to better posture, core strength, and overall movement efficiency?

The primary belief is that carrying a heavy bag causes rounded shoulders.

While carrying a heavy bag can contribute to rounded shoulders, it is not the primary cause of this condition.

Rounded shoulders are typically the result of a combination of factors, including poor foot posture, weak muscles, and muscle imbalances.

The foot arch plays a crucial role in maintaining the proper alignment of the leg bones. When the arch collapses, the rotation of the tibia and femur can become affected, leading to a change in the shape of the spine.

This change in the shape of the spine can cause the shoulders to roll forward, leading to rounded shoulders.

Other factors include prolonged sitting, slouching, and poor ergonomics at work. Additionally, muscle imbalances caused by a lack of exercise or improper training can also contribute to rounded shoulders.
