I have been teaching since 2014 across London and Berkshire. Also a certified Pregnancy, Birth and Postnatal Doula. Hello,

I am a South London based Yoga teacher with 7 years of teaching experience. I received my 200 hour certification in Vinyasa Flow in 2014 and since then have acquired my Pre and Postnatal certification and the 300hour advanced teaching certificate amongst other trainings and c

ourses. I have worked with many different people with different experiences and I strive to offer my students a safe space to explore the movements of the body so they can bring the mind to a clearer calmer place. At 6.45am when all is quiet and it's warm enough to be outside my practice can feel joyous. I've been committing to doing my practice in a 20 minute slot daily first thing in the morning before my daughter wakes up as I decided I needed consistency and discipline. For anyone who has known me for a long time I am not a morning person, I don't teach early morning classes and I'm not very disciplined either. I decided I had to keep it up over the holiday too or I'd never get back into it. It definitely sets me up for the day. Some days it's tough, some days it's great. Today was hard to get up and onto the mat and I almost didn't make it. I'm so glad I did. I've decided if I schedule it then it happens if I don't want to do it. If I wait for motivation to kick in then it just won't. I've never regretted jumping on the mat even if I don't feel like it before hand. Let's see how long I can keep this going ✨🌟💜

Hello Monday!!! 🤗Today is a new day, a new week and an opportunity to reset. I've just had a super busy three days training pregnancy yoga teachers , sharing our knowledge, insights and joy. Today as I step back into mum mode and a busy day with my daughter I'm reminding myself to keep finding pockets throughout the day for a little reset with micro practices. Whether it's a few neck and shoulder stretches while she plays on the floor, a breath practice whilst boiling the kettle or some yoga play time with my daughter my intention is to find short windows for practice. I love doing this when there's no time for a full hour in one go as it means I carry the practice throughout the day. Who wants to try it with me? 🙋

When you are postpartum sometimes it's easy to forget about yourself. There can be a feeling of disconnect from your body and the nervous system can often be in survival mode. Postnatal mum and baby yoga is a great way to find some space in your day to breathe, drop the awareness back into your body, soothe the nervous system and regain strength. You've done a wonderful job of growing, birthing and nurturing your tiny human and these yoga sessions can help you to process and rehab after birth.

This is also a wonderful way to have a bit of time with your baby away from the household tasks and bond with each other and meet other mums too.

Join us on Wednesdays 10.30-11.30am

From 6 weeks postpartum til baby is crawling.

Taking a trip down memory lane today with the family. Early in my career I taught the lovely staff of the science museum some yoga from time to time in the flight gallery. It was a fun gig and great to be back today with my little one having a wonder through the museum. Anyone else find museums incredibly peaceful?

Calling all yoga teachers 📢 do you lack confidence when one of your students becomes pregnant but still wants to attend their regular class? Or does it worry you that a pregnant student might turn up to your regular class and you're not sure how to guide them? This one day course is for you.🎉

This course has been designed to equip yoga teachers with the skills to accommodate pregnant students in a general yoga class 💪✨🙌

You will learn what to do, what to not do and how to confidently modify your classes to create an inclusive environment.

We will cover:

💜 An introduction to the key physiological and hormonal changes pregnancy brings to the body.

💜 The benefits of yoga in pregnancy.

💜 Contraindications for each stage of pregnancy.

💜 Confidently modifying common asanas for each stage of pregnancy.

💜 Which Pranayama’s are beneficial, and which are contraindicated.

💜 Effective use of props for pregnant students.

💜 Use of language in supporting pregnant students.

💜 How to keep the class flowing for pregnant, and non-pregnant students.

💜 Common pregnancy ailments and how to support or refer on when necessary.

Please note this training will give you the knowledge and confidence to welcome and maintain pregnant students safely in your general classes but it will not equip or certify you to offer pregnancy specific yoga classes and is not a pregnancy yoga specialist training.

Date: Sunday 22nd June
Timings: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: MoreYoga Cannon Street Studio

I love the energy of a group of people coming together to practice yoga in a class. Sensing the dance between effort and ease. It's a balance between the two. Exploring our breath and sensation in moments of effort and learning where we can bring more ease to a transition or posture. Sometimes our mind is where we find the challenge with our monkey minds swinging from thought to thought and we can use our awareness, our focus our breath to find a sense of ease. That dance between effort and ease is where the magic happens ✨

Who's up for joining me tonight on the mat ? Evening Flow every Tuesday 6-7pm in studio and Live streamed.
