Our 8-week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course begins Wednesday 1st October 2025 — and spaces are nearly full.

This course may be right for you if you’d like to:

✨ Build relapse prevention skills after therapy

It’s a structured, evidence-based programme designed to help you deepen resilience and maintain progress.

Today, we’re celebrating the charm, companionship, and calming presence of cats.

Whether they’re curled up by our feet or chasing sunbeams across the floor, cats have a special place in many hearts.
But for some, cats can be a real source of fear.

Ailurophobia — a specific phobia of cats — can cause intense distress, even when there’s no real danger.

It’s important to remember that phobias aren’t about logic; they develop in a part of the brain responsible for threat detection, not reasoning. This means we can become fearful of almost anything, often without understanding why.

The good news? CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) can be a highly effective way to manage and overcome specific phobias.

As we step into a brand new month, it's the perfect time to slow down, check in with ourselves, and soak up the summer energy. Whether you're taking time to rest, reset, or reconnect, remember that self-care isn’t a luxury — it’s essential.

Even if life hasn’t slowed down, you can.
Maybe you’ve been carrying a quiet kind of stress — the unfinished tasks, the pressure to stay upbeat, the emotional tiredness that sneaks in when no one’s looking.

You don’t need to earn rest. You already deserve it.
