Easter Party🦉
We had a wonderful Easter celebration, and residents and their families were delighted to meet some truly beautiful birds of prey when Bobbie from The Falcon Crest visited us during our Easter party.
There were three different types of owls, along with a kestrel, another stunning bird of prey. They were magnificent to see, and residents were thrilled to have the opportunity to hold an owl themselves.
A huge thank you to Bobbie for bringing these incredible birds to share such a special experience with us!

What a wonderful afternoon we had when the young jazz band Swing Squad entertained us. These talented youngsters truly wowed everyone with their skill and professionalism.
Our residents were toe‑tapping and clapping along as the band played, and many remarked on how lively and uplifting their performance was.
A big thank you to Swing Squad for bringing such joy to our afternoon — we can’t wait to see them again!

Had a lovely trip out with Jim today as we delivered food and toiletries to our community drop‑off point for our local food bank, The Trussell Trust.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who kindly donated. Your generosity truly makes a difference in supporting those who need it most.

🥳 Celebrating Tony and Sinney

We recently gathered to celebrate Tony and Sinney’s birthdays, and each occasion was filled with warmth and thoughtful touches. Residents and staff shared in the joy as cards and gifts were opened, and—of course—everyone enjoyed a slice of delicious birthday cake 🎂😋.
It was lovely to see the smiles, the conversations, and the sense of community that always shines through on special days like these.❤️

Valentine’s Day Celebrations 🌹

Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of Valentine crafts, baking special cakes, and arranging beautiful roses in vibrant colours. The room was full of laughter and conversation as everyone worked side by side, sharing ideas and admiring each other’s creations.

To make the day even sweeter, we finished with Valentine chocolates and treats while socialising together. A warm, joyful celebration of creativity, friendship, and love.

Windy Knickers! What a Laugh! 🎉

We’ve had an absolute blast playing our new game, Windy Knickers! The room was filled with laughter as everyone got caught up in the fun and silliness of it. It’s one of those wonderfully simple games that brings out big smiles, quick reactions, and plenty of giggles. A perfect reminder of how joyful shared moments can be.

🎉 Birthday Celebrations

We were delighted to celebrate two special birthdays recently — first Peter’s, followed a few days later by Doreen’s. Both enjoyed precious time with their families, sharing smiles, stories, and plenty of love.

Later in the day, each birthday star continued the celebrations with fellow residents, enjoying good company and a slice of delicious birthday cake. It was wonderful to see the lounge filled with chatter, laughter, and that unmistakable birthday buzz.

Sensory Hand Massage Afternoon 💗

Residents enjoyed a soothing pamper session, choosing their own beautifully scented hand creams for a relaxing hand massage.
The room was filled with the soft fragrance of rose potpourri and the warm glow of candles, creating a calming sensory experience. It was a peaceful, nurturing afternoon that left everyone feeling cared for and refreshed.🌹
