This morning we had a celebration for Vicky, who is retiring after 50 years of volunteering and coaching at Green Cottage RDA. She is an inspiration to us all and has made a difference to countless children’s lives. Thank you for everything Vicky 🥰

It was back to school for our volunteers today with a really useful training session organised by our coaches. A great opportunity to refresh our skills before we welcome our riders back next week.

To mark the end of term, we took all our riders out on a hack today. It’s a great way for them to experience riding in a different environment with the support of their helpers.
We would like to wish our riders, their families and carers a very happy summer. Thank you to all our volunteers and coaches for all your hard work.

It’s lovely to have new friends following our page, so maybe this is a good time to mention that we rely on donations and fundraising to meet the costs of looking after our ponies and providing our riding lessons and equine therapy free of charge to our riders. After a break for school holidays, weather delays, and a very successful fundraising coffee morning, it was lovely to get back to riding this morning.

Amazing raffle this Thursday!
We are so grateful to our local community and businesses for donating raffle prizes for our Coffee Morning on Thursday. All proceeds to go Green Cottage Riding For The Disabled Association to provide riding therapy for local children.
Thanks go to The Monmouth Ash, Andrews Butchers, The Hub, Compton Aces, Morrisons, Aroma and all donors for their generosity.
