Notice of Surgery closure for Staff Training:

Please can all patients be aware that the surgery will be closed today, Tuesday 2nd September 2025 in the afternoon between 1.30pm - 4.30pm for essential staff training. The surgery will reopen at 4.30pm as usual.
If you need medical advice or assistance while we are closed, please call our emergency line on 07749 504 968. For all life threatening medical emergencies, please dial 999.

Update 26/08/25 - This IT issue has now been fully resolved. Thank you for being patient with us.

22/08/25 - If you are coming into or contacting the surgery today, please can patients be aware we are experiencing a partial IT outage at the moment. We are still operational but ask you to be patient with us as the computer systems are slower that normal.
This issue is being looked into and we hope it will be resolved as soon as possible.

This is just a reminder to all patients that our prescribing email is being closed down on Friday 29th August.

Requesting your repeat medication via an online platform such as the NHS app, Airmid or SystmOnline is the best and most efficient way to order and track your prescription requests.

In the event that you cannot use your online services for any reason, we have a form you can use to request medication, which can be found here:

📢 Exciting News! 📢

We are pleased to announce we have new check in screens at both our main and branch site!!

The new check in system is more reliable, quicker and easier to use ✅
Please do give it a try when you next have an appointment at the Surgery as self check in does help to reduce queues at our reception desk. 😀

Our Patient Group or more commonly known, Friends of the Practice, kindly donated towards to cost of these screens with contributions from the magnificent fundraising they do ❤️

Flu season is almost upon us!
This year we will be offering both flu and COVID vaccines to eligible patients. If you have an email or mobile number registered with the surgery, you will receive an invite with a booking link within the next few weeks, allowing you to book directly into one of the three clinics at The Allendale Centre in October.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT RECEPTION WITH QUERIES ABOUT FLU OR COVID APPTS

Once our clinics are open for bookings, we will post further information on how to contact our dedicated booking team.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our flu/covid clinics in October.

Phone Update - 31/7/25

The issues with our phone system have now been resolved following a visit from BT.
Please bear in mind our phones may be busier that usual this morning following the issues we have been having.
