🌟 Meet Our Hero: Stephanie 🌟
This incredible woman is not just a valued member of our team – she’s a true warrior. 💪

In 2022, Stephanie was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was a gruelling year of surgery, aggressive chemotherapy, and radiotherapy – a journey that came with hair loss, moon face, and all the physical and emotional battles that come with it. But with the love and support of her family and friends, Stephanie took the fight to cancer...and won!💥

Now, she’s taking on a whole new challenge: a half marathon charity hike in the Cotswolds in support of Macmillan Cancer Support – a charity close to her heart that does incredible work supporting people through their cancer journeys.

☀️ Hot Weather & Your Hearing: What You Need to Know! 👂💦

Did you know summer heat can affect your ears and hearing health?

Here’s what to look out for in the warmer months:

👂 Sweat & humidity can create the perfect environment for ear infections—especially if you wear hearing aids, earplugs, or headphones.

🟠 Softer earwax in the heat can shift and block the ear canal, causing temporary hearing loss or a feeling of fullness.

🔋 Hearing aids don’t love the heat! Sweat can damage internal parts or shorten battery life. A sweatband or drying kit can work wonders.

🔄 Changes in pressure or dehydration can make tinnitus feel louder or cause a sense of imbalance.

💧 Hydration matters—not just for your body, but for your ears too!

Ever wondered how often should you have your ears cleaned or what’s a normal amount of wax? 👀

Well, everyone’s different! ☺️
Some of our clients come every few weeks, some we don’t see for 3 years.
Everyone’s ears are unique & interesting, it depends on many things like your ear shape, hair & skin production, and also your lifestyle.

The picture below is an example of 12 months wax build up from a regular client, but some clients will get this much every few weeks or every few years.

The best way to find out is to book a quick ear consultation with us and we can check your ears, advise you on ear health and wax maintenance.
