🔥🌿✨Today is Beltane Eve, lesser known twin to Samhain.
Carnelian is a perfect stone for Beltane Eve (April 30th) because it embodies the fiery, passionate, and creative energy of the season, which marks the peak of spring and the transition into summer.
We are calling in the energy of the impending Summer, this is not a time for release and letting go. This is a time for doing, absorbing and expending the energy as the wheel turns.P
Traditional practices and practical uses for your carnelian crystal.
Fire Manifestation
Hold your carnelian in your left hand, and visualise a bonfire, hearth or candle in the centre of the crystal. On a piece of paper, write down your desires, intentions and goals during the coming summer months.
Fold the paper away from you, three times. Safely burn the paper, you can use a fire pit, hearth or candle, and visualise the crystal absorbing your intentions, keeping it close to the flame or waft in the smoke if it is safe to do so. You can then use the infused crystal for meditation and vibrational motivation over the coming months.
Personal Energy Work
Place or hold a carnelian stone slightly below the naval during meditation. The stone will ignite the energy of the Sacral chakra. Envisage warm, vibrant, fire energy awakening your creativity, passion and desire.
Altar Decoration
Bring the element of fire into your Beltane altar to represent the fire element. Adorn your altar with fresh flower, foilage and seasonal items, placing the carnelian in the centre and the focal point, and to ignite the energy into your scared space.
