We welcomed 11 year old Francesca to the hospital today. She had kindly offered to play her harp to the staff and patients.
What a delightful young lady, who so effortlessly transported us away with the beautiful sounds of her instrument. We were all in awe of her talent.

After a total of 4 months in hospital, Jennifer walked out to return home on Friday.
The resilience and determination she has shown to get to her goal of walking out of our hospital has been incredible.
Working together with our amazing rehab team, she’s achieved it!!

🍬 🍫 It’s been a busy morning preparing for our Summer Fete on the 13th September. Clare and SJ are running the Chocolate and Sweets Tombola… With Clare at the helm, we were assisted by patients to put together a wonderful display and to fill cones and cups. A lovely activity to enjoy together.🍫🍬

🍰 ☕️The Friends of Wincanton Community Hospital held their monthly coffee morning this morning. People came and enjoyed the outside seating to chat and eat cake and tasty goodies. ☕️ 🍰

Our amazing Ward Administrator, Michelle Chandler, has officially completed 40 years of service with the NHS. What an achievement, I am not sure what we would do without her. I have made it very clear - retirement is NOT an option! Thank you Michelle for everything you have done and continue to do for our hospital 😊
