Meet Hetty - your chef and guide for our Celebrate the Seasons: Harvest workshop 🍂
A brilliant local chef with a passion for seasonal cooking, Hetty brings warmth, knowledge and a relaxed, hands-on style to every workshop she leads.
On 12th September, she’ll be joining us at The Buttery Dish to help you make the most of autumn’s harvest - teaching you how to cook with the best of the season’s produce and, importantly, how to preserve it for the months ahead.
We’ll be exploring the art of pickling and fermenting - looking at simple, traditional techniques that help you make the most of seasonal produce. Hetty will talk you through how to create flavour-packed jars that are not only delicious but can also support gut health. Whether you’re completely new to preserving or looking to deepen your knowledge, this part of the workshop is all about demystifying the process and showing just how accessible it can be.
It’s a chance for you to learn how to make the most of what’s growing now and take a little bit of autumn with you into winter.
After a busy morning in the kitchen, we’ll sit down together for a beautiful seasonal lunch, paired with a glass of wine, celebrating the joy of simple, wholesome food.
