I thought I’d start sharing a few of the edible flowers I love using in my food...

First up is Dianthus - so pretty, comes in the most beautitul colours and has a subtle clove-like flavour. I usually just use one petal at a time as a finishing touch.

It’s related to Sweet William, which is also edible, and I love how something so delicate can completely transform a dish visually.

One of my favourite little details to cook with.

Beautiful cakes from Steph (the Victoria Sponge was EPIC! ), incredible ingredients, great coffee, people getting stuck in, and a real mix of conversations, learning and hands-on moments.

It’s never just about one thing it’s everything coming together that makes days like this what they are.

Showing people how to create something simple that looks and tastes incredible…and seeing that moment when it all comes together.

A little detail here, a tweak there…and suddenly it’s a proper showstopper!

This is me demonstrating how to make my Parmesan Biscuits with homemade pesto, rolled cucumber and edible flower canapés at the recent workshop with Fred and Steph at Boyd Farms.
