I thought I’d start sharing a few of the edible flowers I love using in my food...
First up is Dianthus - so pretty, comes in the most beautitul colours and has a subtle clove-like flavour. I usually just use one petal at a time as a finishing touch.
It’s related to Sweet William, which is also edible, and I love how something so delicate can completely transform a dish visually.
One of my favourite little details to cook with.
