Our card machine has been replaced & we can now receive electronic payments again 🤩

The Pharmacy will be closed on Thursday December 25th & Friday December 26th for & will reopen on Saturday December 27th.

We will close again on Thursday January 1st & reopen on Friday January 2nd.

Our card machine is no longer functioning & we can only accept payment by cash or cheque for the next 48 hours.

We are aware of the inconvenience this will cause & apologise for the this situation that is sadly out of our control.

We will update you here as soon as a replacement is up & running

‼️ADVANCE WARNING ‼️

Today (Tuesday December 16th) we are having some work done to investigate a water leak beneath the floor. This will be quite noisy at times.

We apologise for any disruption during you visit but this is essential work we need to undertake.

Please be aware that following the implementation of a new system the Pharmacy team are currently between 5 & 6 days behind in processing repeat prescription requests.

Please bear with us until the new system is fully operational. The team are all working really hard to reduce the processing time.

We appreciate both your patience & your understanding during this time.

We are implementing a new dispensing system from today. Our Pharmacy team have already completed training in the new processes & we hope for a smooth transition.

Please be aware that there may be slightly longer waiting times whilst the team implement the new system.

GOOD NEWS!

Our new card machine arrived early & has been installed this morning so we are now able to accept card payments again.

We are very grateful for your patience & understanding whilst we were unable to take card payments.

Unfortunately our card payment machine has failed today & we cannot accept card payments.

A new machine is on the way but not expected until Monday.

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes but it is beyond our control.

Did you know that we offer an ear wax removal service?

No need to be a patient registered with Twyford Surgery as this is a Pharmacy service by a fully qualified nurse.

To make a booking please call in to the Pharmacy. Please note that you may be asked to pay a deposit to secure your appointment.
