❗️Why is it important to know how to stop catastrophic bleeding?

Every year, about 1.5 million people globally die from catastrophic bleeding🩸. It does not wait for emergency medical help to arrive. There are only a few seconds to stop the bleeding and save the victim's life⏱️. Unfortunately, only a small percentage people know how to provide the correct assistance.

That is why the knowledge and ability to stop catastrophic bleeding by applying a tourniquet, packing the wound, or applying direct pressure are always relevant. The victim's survival at this critical moment depends on quick and skilful actions.

Last week, the Spearfish Security Ltd team conducted HEAT training for NGO employees.
The intensive course combines a large amount of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. A significant part of the course is devoted to providing first aid to the wounded in extreme conditions. Thanks to modern simulation equipment and the professional work of instructors and actors, we are able to simulate the most complex injuries and critical situations for better practice of practical skills.
