Hind limb and hindquarter gait observation- vital for spotting lameness and signs of potential pain or pathology.
Asymmetry is very often present - just as we have a stronger side (handed-ness) so does the horse. So the question: is there some asymmetry and should we be concerned? And if the hindquarters are symmetrical, are we happy or could there be a bilateral problem?

I know it doesn’t look like it but Polo is loving the buggy. Her arthritis means she can only walk short distances, and the buggy means I can push her to different places for her to explore.
