Brendoncare Meadway has been specifically designed to enable people in later life to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives. Brendoncare Meadway is a CQC 'Good' rated home with a carehome.co.uk rating of 9/10. With multiple communal areas, Brendoncare Meadway is a happy and comfortable home with kind and compassionate staff dedicated improving the lives and well-being of people in later life.

Our residents enjoyed a truly lovely treat this afternoon at tea time! 🍓☕

Our talented chef Sue prepared a delicious strawberry and buttercream Swiss roll, which went down an absolute treat. For our residents who are gluten free, our wonderful catering assistant Karey made a traditional Northern Ireland fridge cake, known as “fifteens” – equally enjoyed by all!

Lisa brought along an incredible selection of amazing animals and creatures, and the residents were absolutely fascinated. It was a fantastic hands-on experience, full of excitement, curiosity, and lots of smiles.

It was a wonderful activity filled with imagination, laughter, and lots of colour. Everyone enjoyed expressing themselves and bringing their unique designs to life.

We had another lovely visit today from Alison Mojo, and this time our theme was Easter! 🐣🌸

Everyone got creative painting rabbits, chickens, chicks, flowers, and colourful eggs. There was lots of laughter, creativity, and a wonderful sense of togetherness throughout the session.

To top it all off, Alison created a beautiful Easter collage, which is now proudly displayed in our lounge for everyone to enjoy. It’s brought such a cheerful, springtime feel to the home!

A big thank you to Alison for another fantastic session – we’re already looking forward to the next one! 💛

Our residents recently enjoyed an age-adapted volleyball session with Kirstin from RIISE - helping with balance and coordination while sharing laughs and friendly competition.
