As we reflect on 2025, we are honoured to share that £450,028.81 has been raised for charities through our continued partnership with MuchLoved This remarkable total will support a wide range of meaningful causes and stands as a powerful reminder of the compassion shown by the families we work alongside. Every donation made in memory of a loved one creates lasting impact, and we are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed.

Today marks a truly meaningful milestone for us.

230 emergency baby loss packs have now been delivered to Anthony Letchworth Ward at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

After one of our funeral directors experienced two early pregnancy losses, she became painfully aware of the lack of immediate support available to couples following early loss. Determined to help change this, she set out to make a difference.. raising £2,300 to create these emergency baby loss packs for families at their most vulnerable moments.

We’re delighted to share a wonderful update from our team following the first Southern Area NAFD meeting at Test Valley, Westerleigh.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend such an informative and engaging session, with around 30 attendees including many new faces, all bringing genuine passion and dedication. What truly stood out was how clearly everyone in the room placed bereaved families and the deceased at the heart of everything they do.

We’re also incredibly proud to announce that Julian, one of our Funeral Directors, has been newly appointed as the Southern Area NAFD Secretary, and Evie, another of our Funeral Directors, has taken on the role of Digital Engagement Officer. A huge congratulations to both.

The meeting included insightful contributions from the lead medical examiner, the senior APT from RHCH mortuary, the bereavement team leader, the mortuary operations manager, and the superintendent registrars. Their openness and expertise made for a truly valuable discussion.

A big thank you to Westerleigh for their hospitality and catering.

A productive, inspiring, and promising start to the year for the Southern Area NAFD.
