We are really sorry but due to ongoing staff illness we will need to close Colden Common Surgery at 5pm on Thursday August 28th & 12.30pm on Friday August 29th.

We understand the inconvenience this causes & apologise for any difficulties this raises for you.

Although we are all still enjoying the summer our winter vaccination planning is under way.

Please don’t contact the Surgery yet, we will post updates here when available.

Our updates will include eligibility criteria, dates of clinics & news of when we can start to take bookings.

Please be aware that this winter Covid vaccines are only being offered to patients aged 75 or over, those residing in a care home for older adults & patients that are immunocompromised.

In the Hampshire & IOW area there are 130 Practices & we achieved third place on this list 🤩

Of the 11 Practices covering the Wi******er area we achieved the top spot 💙

UPCOMING ROADWORKS FOR SPRING LANE COLDEN COMMON

We have received communication from SGN that work to replace gas mains is due to start in Spring Lane Colden Common on a date between 14/07/2025 & 28/07/2025. The work is due to last for 5 weeks. We have been assured that access to the Surgery will be maintained at all times but you may find it easier to park in the Community Centre carpark & use the back gate.

We are sure there will be signs & diversions locally to give you more information.

We have arrived today to find that someone has filled our recycling bin with their household waste. We pay for our refuse to be collected & the bins are tucked away to the side of the Pharmacy. Our rubbish will be rejected by our carrier & we will be subjected to fines if the wrong rubbish is in the wrong bin. We also get charged for excess weight.

These bins are not provided & funded for household waste. They are clearly labelled for SURGERY USE ONLY

Please, please do not use our bins to dispose of anything.
