There’s no stopping change, it’s beyond our control - but our stability is rooted in the way we choose to show up.♥️ And often, when we open our heart to it, change can be the source to enlightenment.

Yoga is powerful - it invites you to make peace with who you are today - letting go of striving, forcing, and comparison.

Come exactly as you are… and trust that change begins from this place.💚🌱

If you’re in perimenopause and waking up feeling stiff, achy or not quite like yourself… you’re not imagining it.

As oestrogen begins to drop, it can affect our joints, muscles and overall mobility — which is why gentle daily movement becomes more important than ever.

The good news? It doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming to make a real difference.

Here are five super simple ways to move your body every single day. Mobility is key to feeling good in your body for as long as possible… and so is strength. And we gently weave both into all of our classes 💚

Save this post and try these each morning when you get out of bed:

💚 spinal rolls with a gentle stretch on the back of the head — creating space and flow through the spine
💚 seated side bend — sit on a chair or cushion if that feels better, softly windmill the arms and lengthen through the side body (so supportive for low back niggles)
💚 hip circles — to ease stiffness and bring movement into a tight pelvis (don’t forget both directions)
💚 gentle hip opener — use a block for support if required and press away from the ground only as much as feels right for you… no forcing
💚 soft body sway — let your arms connect gently with the body, breathe deeply and feel energy begin to move again

Small, consistent movements like this can really support how your body feels — especially during this phase of life.

You can try Live + Flow, our online yoga membership, completely free for 14 days… for a gentle daily dose of movement to help you feel more like yourself again. I’m here to gently guide and support you, so you never feel like you’re doing it alone. 🤗💚

I have a free gift for you!

✨7 Days to a Calmer You✨

What if calm wasn’t something you had to find — just something you had to remember?

Over seven days, I’ll share one simple, accessible yoga practice with you each morning. Breathwork. Gentle movement. Permission to rest. The kind of things that quietly change everything.

No mat required. No experience needed. No credit card. Just seven emails, straight to your inbox.

🌿 Day 1 — Arrive, Ground & Connect
🌿 Day 2 — The power of your breath (more than you think)
🌿 Day 3 — Why ten minutes of movement is enough
🌿 Day 4 — Settle, Soothe, Release
🌿 Day 5 — Morning Light Movement
🌿 Day 6 — Just 10 minutes day
🌿 Day 7 — Your next step (whenever you’re ready)

In case you need a little reminder, I’m Beks — a yoga teacher, a work-in-progress, and someone who truly believes that showing up for a yoga practice (especially on the messy days) is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself.

The Stable Health Studio, and Live + Flow (our online membership) exists because I wanted to create the kind of space I’ve needed in my life; somewhere warm, honest, supportive and completely free of pressure.

There’s been a quiet shift happening in our home these past coupe of years.

Not because everything is always calm…
but because I’ve started to understand what it really means to be the calm.

When emotions run high, especially for little nervous systems still learning how to process the world, it’s so easy to want to fix, soothe quickly, or make things better straight away.

But what I’ve come to realise is this -
our children don’t need us to change how they feel…
they need us to show them that those feelings can be held safely.

And that starts with us.

Through my own yoga practice, I’ve been learning (and unlearning!) SO much. It’s a cliche but I’ve been in quite the journey!

The biggie..
How to pause before reacting.
How to breathe through intensity.
How to soften, even when things feel stretched.

It’s not perfect. It’s not instant.
But it’s creating space on many levels.

Space for connection.
Space for understanding.
Space for her to begin finding her own way back to calm.

Because the truth is (in my opinion!), regulation isn’t something we can force or teach through words alone…
it’s something that’s felt, experienced, and gently mirrored. It has to be an embodied felt and real experience.

And when we begin to anchor ourselves,
that steadiness has a way of rippling outward 🤍

Happy April to you! 🌱💚💕

And another lap around the sun for me! 47 🌞🤗 And while I may not be soaking up the sunshine beside this beautiful pool, I was just a few weeks ago — and I’m more than happy to bask in the memory.🤗😎

Instead, today’s celebrations feel quieter, and more rooted in what matters most. I’m spending the day snug and cosy at home - supporting my son as he prepares for his GCSEs next month as well as his Gold Leadership Air Cadets course, which he’s heading off on tomorrow morning.

This month, I’m really looking forward to guiding you all through some deeply heart-led practices. 💚🌱 Together, we’ll be gently exploring what it means to open ourselves… to observe the intention behind setting intentions… and to notice how that quietly unfolds in our lives.

A softer, more spacious approach.
Less striving… more allowing.

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” — Rumi

Have you been holding off stepping into your power?

Maybe it’s felt easier to stay where you are… repeating the same patterns, holding onto relationships that don’t truly nourish you, telling yourself ‘now isn’t the time’.

I see you… I’ve been there too.

For years I tried to tone myself down. To fit in. keep the peace. Do the right thing… even when it didn’t serve me.

But all that did was hold me back from who I really am.

If you’ve read my recent posts, you’ll know everything shifted after a sound bath experience a few years ago.

The sound took over my body - something deep released and at the same time, something else awakened.

I let go of what I’d been holding onto for so long.
And I came out the other side with clarity and a deep feeling of peace.

When I started teaching yoga 6 years ago, I knew I had found my purpose. It just felt right. Even through the mistakes and scary moments of putting myself out there and learning on the job, I knew I was finally where I was meant to be. It was a powerful calling to hold space and spread love, which had been trying to reach the surface for sometime.

But I’ve known there was more to come. And now… it’s time because yesterday, as I emerged from a beautiful crystal bowl sound workshop, that same feeling of inner knowing and love rose right to the surface and filled my soul.

As I step into a new chapter and begin my crystal bowl sound training this September, I can feel that next layer starting to unfurl.

This is your reminder…
You don’t have to stay where you are.
You don’t have to shrink to fit.
You don’t have to stick with things if they don’t feel right.

You are allowed to reframe what’s holding you back.
You are allowed to set intentions that feel true to you.
You are allowed to step forward in your own way.

Maybe this is your moment too and we’ll step into a new chapter together.🤍

Thank you for your beautiful energy and creating such a safe and wonderful invitation to step into the world of sound.💜
