DBS checked & first-aid trained drivers. We started DMD Winchester to help people maintain their independence and to support them when family are unable to. We are flexible and able to adapt our service to meet individual needs - we want to help people remain mobile, encourage social interaction and provide companionship to help them to live life to the full.

We’re so lucky to have Keziah as part of our Driving Miss Daisy team. She has been working alongside Kate for a few months now and has already built a wonderful rapport with clients.

Myth #5: “If I can’t book online, I can’t use the service.”

At Driving Miss Daisy, we believe in keeping things simple and personal. We know that not everyone is comfortable with technology or wants to manage bookings online.

Myth #4: “You need to use a wheelchair to use Driving Miss Daisy.”

Not true!

Driving Miss Daisy supports people with a wide variety of needs. Some of our clients do use wheelchairs, and we’re fully equipped and trained to assist wheelchair users safely and comfortably.

But many others simply need a little extra help getting out and about. Some of our clients use a walking stick, have limited mobility, or just need companionship and support during their journeys.

Our service is personalised to you. It’s not about fitting everyone into one box; it’s about understanding your needs and making travel easier, safer, and more enjoyable. We are here to help you keep moving and stay connected.

Not true!

We do support medical visits, but that’s far from all we offer. We take clients shopping, to the hairdresser, out for lunch, to social clubs, the cinema and the beach. You name it.

We help people stay active, independent, and connected to the things that bring them joy. Sometimes the most important journeys are the ones that simply lift your spirits.

Not true!

While we love supporting older clients, our service is for anyone who needs a little extra help getting out and about, whatever their age. That includes people with disabilities or additional needs, those recovering from injury or illness, or anyone who finds travel stressful or challenging.
