What a wonderful celebration week! Today, it is time to take a moment to celebrate our amazing Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) here at Sarum Road Hospital.

These dedicated professionals are the unsung heroes of our surgical teams. Every day, our ODPs work tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring patients feel safe and cared for from the moment they arrive until they’re back on their feet.

Whether they’re assisting with anaesthetics, prepping sterile equipment, or providing comforting support as patients wake up, the impact of their work is life-changing. The team’s 76 years of collective experience and genuine compassion makes a profound difference in the operating theatre. We couldn’t do it without them.
