Tania Galvani Naturopath

Tania Galvani Naturopath Naturopathy works by treating the whole person -that means mind, body, and spirit.

It aims to heal the root causes of an illness, by addressing all the factors that are affecting a patient´s health, as opposed to just stopping the symptoms.

Grounding is the practice of making direct contact with the earth — like walking barefoot on sand, grass, or soil.

The idea is that the body can absorb small electrical charges from the earth’s surface, which may help neutralise excess positive charge and support overall balance.

While research is still developing, some studies suggest grounding may support:

– Nervous system regulation (helping shift out of “fight or flight”)
– Reduced stress and improved mood
– Better sleep quality
– Reduced inflammation
– Improved circulation

From a naturopathic perspective, it’s also about something more fundamental — slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and supporting the body in a simple, accessible way.

I also love leaning against a tree to ground — it’s such an easy way to pause, reset, and feel more connected.

Even a few minutes a day — standing barefoot outside, walking on the beach, or sitting/leaning against a tree — can be a simple but powerful addition to your routine.

If you’re feeling wired, fatigued, or out of balance, these small, consistent practices can make a meaningful difference over time. If you’d like a more personalised approach to supporting your nervous system and overall health, feel free to message me.

Bone broth is one of the simplest ways to support your body at a foundational level.

When prepared properly, it provides collagen, amino acids like glycine, and minerals in a form your body can actually use.

It may support:
– Gut lining and digestion
– Skin, hair and joint health
– Immune resilience
– Energy and blood sugar balance

Simple method:
Add a a mix of chicken bones and meat to a pot, cover with water, and add a small amount of apple cider vinegar. This helps draw more collagen, gelatin, and minerals (like calcium and magnesium) from the bones, resulting in a more nutritious and gelatinous broth.

Add onion, carrot, celery — and you can also include leeks, ginger, garlic, and fresh herbs for extra flavour and benefit.

Simmer gently for 4–6+ hours, strain, and store.

You’ll know it’s a good broth when it sets like jelly once cooled — a sign of its natural collagen content.

If you’re working on gut health, fatigue, or overall balance, this is something I often include within personalised naturopathic support. Message me if you’d like guidance tailored to you.

How I can help you as a Naturopath

I help my clients improve their health by working with them to find the cause of their unwellness. Dis-ease is not something that only effects our physical body. Dis-ease starts in the energy field before manifesting into our physical body. What we think, how we feel and what we do all play a part in creating the health and vitality we wish to enjoy. For this reason, I believe it is in our own best interest to improve the health of our mental, emotional and spiritual centres as well as nourishing our body with the right foods. My approach to helping my clients achieve a high level of overall health focuses on all these aspects of their being.

🍂 Autumn Reset 🍂

Now that the days are cooler, I feel it’s the right time to slow down a little and bring in more warming, comforting foods. Roasted root vegetables like carrots, parsnips and sweet potato, along with apples, pears and spices such as ginger, turmeric and cinnamon, can really help support energy and immunity at this time of year. Herbs like elderberry or thyme are also great for keeping well through the season.

✨ Here’s a favourite Autumn Immune Soup: gently cook carrots, sweet potato, parsnip, onion, garlic and ginger in stock until soft, then blend and add a little turmeric, black pepper and lemon juice. It’s simple, nourishing and a great option for cosy evenings.
