Happy Xmas🎄from everyone at Go LD🌟

We had lots of fun at our Xmas🎅party this afternoon. We played a very energetic game of Musical Statues, had a Festive Quiz, played Heads & Tails and enjoyed a yummy buffet!

Well done to Katie, Jane, and Sarah for winning a prize🎁 for their design a Xmas Jumper👕competition.

As always a big thank you to our wonderful volunteers who helped make a it happen🙂

A BIG Thank You 🤗 to Barchester Healthcare in Wi******er for donating £2,500 and inviting the latest 'Go ME' cohort for afternoon tea 🍰☕ We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting in the new year when it's a bit warmer and we can enjoy being out in the garden 🌼🌻

Today we had Kate visit us from BearFace Theatre CIC who ran an interactive workshop exploring community safety 👥! Our members had lots of ideas to improve safety in our local community. Thank you to Kate for such an informative workshop 🧡

At our Go Us session we had a SkinVision workshop with www.helpandcare.org.uk, we looked at an App for checking our skin where you can add pictures of your moles on to a body and then advising when you should speak to the GP. Our members advised on how it could be used for adults with learning disabilities and autism. A really productive session 🙂🌞
