We provide information, signposting and services.

- We respect and promote the rights of people with a learning disability and their families to speak up on issues both locally and nationally
- We aim to raise awareness, change attitudes and influence policy
- We invite anyone with a learning disability and their families and friends to become members

2 intrepid groups were on a mission to cook a healthy meal for 4 for £10!

And they did it!!! Both groups checked prices and healthy options, and even added a few extras!

They then prepared and cooked their meals, ready to take home and enjoy!

✨It was a lively and collaborative Go Us Living Well session yesterday✨

We focused on the benefits of menu planning to help with budgeting and less food waste, amongst lots of other reasons!

Lucy and Ros showed us their individual meal plans, which had some fantastic ideas for meals!

We then played Ready, Steady, Cook!! Our members were able to make lots of different healthy meals with a variety of ingredients that they were given!

There will be a free live performance at The Arc on Friday 1st May during our Go Connect session - we can’t wait! 🎻

At our Living Well Go Us session we discussed where we did our 'big' shop, Tesco was our most popular place to shop! With Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer not far behind.

We then split into groups to guess the prices of essential items in the main supermarkets. Our savvy shoppers were very accurate, knowing the prices of milk, bread and loo rolls! Although we were surprised at the range of prices for each item in the main superstores! 😮

We finished our session talking about how we get ready to go shopping. A reminder of how to budget by writing a list, checking cupboards, planning meals etc etc

🛒Rob reminded us to take our reusable shopping bags and loyalty cards.
📱Edwin likes to use Siri on his mobile to help him write and use his shopping list!
💡Jane reminded us to check use by and best before dates too!

Today we met with Charlene from Hampshire Community Rail Partnership. Our members showed Charlene the planters that they keep maintained at Wi******er train station.

Our members tidied up and replanted with colourful plants, ready for the Spring sunshine to finally show itself!!!

Although today it was raining we brought some sunshine to a dark day 😍. Thank you all for a fun afternoon!
