Summer’s coming...yippeee.

Have you checked your skin for unusual moles?

If any part of you thinks that a mole doesn't look normal, it's better to get it checked.

Things to look out for:

👉Border: The edges are irregular or jagged
👉Colour: The mole has uneven or patchy colouring, or multiple colours
👉Diameter: The mole is at least 6 mm in diameter
👉Evolving: The mole changes in size, shape or colour
👉Itching: The mole is persistently or intensely itchy
👉Bleeding: The mole is bleeding
👉Crusting: The mole is crusty
👉Painful: The mole is painful

Very often it's nothing to worry about but book in with one of our GPs to be sure- mention that you would like dermoscopy when you book.
