Advent and the Wisdom of the Threshold
Before the 7th Century in Western Europe Advent was not a cosy countdown to Christmas. Its observance was closer to Lent with restraint, fasting, penitence and an inner preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Advent then started on November 11th and like Lent, it was 40 days. It was a deliberate slowing of life in readiness for something sacred to arrive.

Family holiday periods such as Thanksgiving/Christmas etc can be particularly testing of our levels of forgiveness.
We must keep ahead and forgive faster than new experiences that need forgiving build up! This might be forgiveness of ourselves or forgiveness of another. When we try and pretend forgiveness is not needed it ferments inside us and gradually destroys us.
I am delighted to announce this 6 session online course, "The Path of Forgiveness" is returning on Thursday evenings 8-9.30pm UK Time, starting Nov 6th. Early bird price of £108 ends Nov 14th.
Most of us need to do a continual cleaning of our inner being where we accumulate layers and layers of small and large memories, emotions, thoughts about areas of our life that need forgiving.
But if we find the courage and will to forgive, it is a feeling of liberation, expansion and relief and the future brightens up.

The breathing technique derives from an ancient Yogic breath. This conscious connected breath can bring us fully present into our bodies. If the cells awaken then the mind and body become one and the soul can reveal itself more easily. In this state decisions become easy and revelations pop up about our day to day lives.
