What I really do as a Nutritional Therapist
Not sure what it is I do, or how I can help you? I've put it all together here 🍏🍏😀

What I Really Do as a Nutritional Therapist, and how my programmes support lasting, meaningful change in your health Most people know, on some level, that eating better, moving more and managing stress would improve their health. The challenge is not always a lack of knowledge, but a lack of persona...

Today was the final session for a client who came to me with multiple health conditions, such as:

Hiatus Hernia
Gastritis
Candida overgrowth
Asthma
Diarrhoea
Food intolerance (and we found the culprit)
Diverticulitis
Excess mucus
Fatigue and poor sleep

I was writing up her final protocol and thought I’d share the wins. All through her taking onboard personalised recommendations. This is what Nutritional Therapy is all about 🤗

I have space for three new clients at the end of January and if you’d like to know more, book in a free 20 minute health review. https://my.practicebetter.io/ #/6129047639803303a0af2408/bookings?s=62f4ee2a024d82abfe83aafb&step=date 💚

What to focus on in 2026, and what to drop

January Is Not About Becoming Someone New January 3rd often arrives quietly. The celebrations are over. The social whirl has settled. And what is left is usually a tired body, a slightly unsettled gut, and a familiar thought creeping in. “I need to get back on track.” I want to gently challenge ...

Start 2026 Energised 🌟

If you’re heading into the new year feeling more run-down, bloated, foggy, or overwhelmed than you expected, you are not alone - and you do not need to stay stuck.
Many people hope to feel better by this point in December, but stress, blood sugar swings, gut issues, thyroid changes, perimenopause, and poor sleep can make it almost impossible to get ahead on your own.

As a BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist, I specialise in helping people who struggle with:
• Ongoing fatigue
• IBS, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation and reflux
• Blood sugar and metabolic health issues
• Thyroid imbalance (including subclinical patterns)
• Hormone symptoms in women 35–55
• Anxiety, poor sleep and afternoon crashes
• “I just don’t feel well anymore”

I look at what’s actually driving your symptoms - from gut health and inflammation to nutrient status, stress hormones, mitochondrial energy, blood sugar, thyroid patterns, and more - and build a personalised plan that fits around your real life.

If you aren't going to put up with feeling rubbish anymore, then book a free Health Review with me https://my.practicebetter.io/ #/6129047639803303a0af2408/bookings?s=62f4ee2a024d82abfe83aafb&step=date and let's see if we can work together in 2026 🍏🍏

GUT HEALTH 💩😵‍💫

For many of my IBS and gut health clients, Christmas used to mean bloating, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, and feeling uncomfortable every single day. This year, several of them are experiencing their first calm Christmas gut in years because of the work we have already done together. It's great feedback to get. 🤩

Christmas can be a tricky time for digestion, but a few simple strategies make a huge difference. These are some of the ones I share with my clients:

1️⃣ Add fermented foods like kefir, live yoghurt, sauerkraut or kimchi to support your gut microbiome and reduce bloating
2️⃣ Eat slowly. Digestion starts in the mouth, and rushing meals is one of the biggest drivers of reflux, bloating, and discomfort
3️⃣ Support your gut lining with foods like bone broth, flaxseeds, oily fish, walnuts and olive oil
4️⃣ Stay hydrated, especially if you are having alcohol or rich foods
5️⃣ Post-party reset. A gentle morning with warm water, movement, and a gut-loving smoothie with spinach, kefir, chia and ginger can work wonders

Gut health affects your energy, mood, hormones and immune system, not just your digestion. It can also really dampen your social life

If this Christmas has made your diarrhoea, bloating, painful gas, constipation or reflux worse, you do not need to accept that as “normal”. Because I assure you, it's not. In 2026, we can get to the bottom of why your symptoms are happening and fix them properly, not just manage them.

If you would like to work with me on your gut health next year, book your free Health Review via the link in my bio 🍏
