Dear patients, to improve access by telephone to the surgery we have introduced some new features:

1. Virtual queueing - a system that allows callers to wait for a call-back instead of being put on hold in a call queue. This can improve customer experience by reducing wait times, frustration, and abandoned calls.
2. Appointment checking without joining a queue.

We also do not allocate appointments on a 'first come first served' basis. This means you do not need to ring first thing in the morning to avoid long queues at this time of day. All appointments are allocate on a clinical need basis.

There is a new NHS service called Pharmacy First. You can get help from you local pharmacist for a range of conditions. Pharmacists train for 5 years and have a deep knowledge of how to diagnose and treat common illnesses.
