On this day in 1945, communities across the country came together to mark the end of the Second World War in Europe. Streets were filled with celebration, union flags and remembrance for those who lost their lives.

We used Caremark to provide support to my parents for the last 2.5 years; initially in a home visit capacity supporting specifically my fathers needs, and then as their respective health conditions and needs changed we moved to having a live in career to support both parents including end of life care for my father. The staff were always professional, and compassionate, even when dealing with the challenges that progressive dementia can bring. We always felt that they were safe and well looked after, and we were kept well informed of any changes in situation and Caremark frequently stepped in to support any planned and or emergency trips to hospital.
