Hiya!
Just a message to remind you that you’re not a bad person if you self-medicate, disconnect, avoid, or isolate to cope with how you’re feeling.

It’s something you learned, because you didn’t know another way. And then that pathway deepened and became the norm.

This is different to being bad or not having good willpower.

The good news is you can unlearn.

I want you to know that freedom is round the corner waiting for you…

When you can finally bring awareness and presence to yourself and your patterns - with compassion.

It’s not an overnight thing - it’s something to commit to practicing, little by little.

Somatics can help us to teach the body new experiences and develop a sense of emotional safety.

Self-touch is a powerful way of offering ourselves support and connecting with ourselves sometimes in different ways.

If it feels weird that’s ok.

But in this often harsh & demanding world, we need this actually.

And it’s an empowering place to be when we’re able to acknowledge this and do things differently for you today.
