Just a quick reminder that we have some incredible opportunities happening for families over the next two days.
Friday 30th January - 9.30am-11.30am - It's our regular Ladybirds playgroup and in this special session we have two professional Paediatric volunteer Therapists: Physiotherapist Lauren Nash and Occupational Therapist Sharon Wignall.

NO NEED to book - just drop in anytime during the morning for a coffee and a chat (even if the kids are at school; come and meet these amazing therapists and get their support and guidance!)

Lauren will then see our BftF Plus young people for physio sessions from 12pm - if you haven't booked in yet, please email: admin@bftf.org.uk

Then on Saturday 31st January from 11am we have a drop-in family group for children and young people with physical disabilities. This is a new-style support group that will be monthly and is proving popular already! We're really looking forward to welcoming you all to Our House, Toutley Road, Wokingham RG41 1QN.

Thanks to Lauren and Sharon and to all our amazing volunteers who support our charity and provide incredible services to families with disabled children.

So proud to work with this guy always going over and above ,our on. All has recieved constant praise this weekend.

After an awful Thursday with a broken-down car and a tough run between clients, this amazing carer didn’t give up. He took Friday to recharge, came back on Saturday giving his all, and even used a last-minute cancellation to surprise one of our clients with her favourite pasta dish.

He bought fresh ingredients, got her involved in cooking, and shared a lovely lunch with her favourite carers. She was absolutely delighted — and so were we.

It’s the little things at Laura Cares that truly set us apart 💗

We would like to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for the beautiful pictures you took the time and effort to create for our Laura Cares clients.

Our elderly service users were absolutely delighted with your wonderful artwork. Each picture was delivered to our clients in their own homes, and it truly brightened up their Christmas. Your kindness, creativity, and thoughtfulness brought so many smiles and meant more than you could ever imagine.

All of your hard work, effort, and time was very much appreciated, and you really did make our clients’ Christmas extra special. Many of them still have your pictures proudly hanging on their walls today.
