💛 A Reminder of Why We Do What We Do 💛

One of our experienced senior team members shared this emotional account after meeting a new client today:

“She was still in bed when I arrived, her nightie inside out, underwear tossed aside. When I told her I’d come to take her to see her husband, she broke down in tears and said I was a gift from God.

I helped her freshen up, get dressed, do her makeup and lipstick, and we sang and danced to Bob Marley on the way. She smiled, laughed, and told me she’d pray to see me again.

At the care home, no one signed us in, no welcome — I had to find a caretaker just to locate her husband’s room.

He was in bed, curtains drawn, no TV, staring at the wall. But when he saw her, they both cried. It was powerful.”
