We aim to provide the best possible short-term, long-term, or respite care, comfort and happiness to meet the individual and special needs of our re

💍✨ Creativity in the details. Residents at Winton House enjoyed a jewellery making session, carefully selecting beads and designs to create their own unique pieces. It was a relaxed and enjoyable activity, with plenty of conversation and creativity along the way.

Activities like jewellery making are not only enjoyable but also very beneficial. They help support fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and concentration, while encouraging self-expression and confidence. A lovely example of how meaningful activities can support wellbeing as well as bring joy.

🎶🕺 A step back to the 1950s. Residents at Winton House enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of 1950s reminiscing with Heather. The session was full of familiar songs, gentle dancing, and plenty of memories, with old coins sparking conversation and stories from years gone by.

Reminiscence activities like this are a fantastic way to stimulate memory, encourage social interaction, and create a real sense of connection and enjoyment. A truly uplifting afternoon for everyone involved.
