Hi everyone, I’m not going to be around for at least another week. We have lost an amazing part of our family yesterday 💔 and as you can imagine it is a very difficult time. if you need help with food etc please pop to the hut in the opening hours or contact Janice via text message if possible on 07709454523

Christmas Appeal 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Hi everyone!! So this year has been absolutely crazy (understatement I know!) I am asking for help, yet again! I’m a huge believer in everyone should feel loved and cared for, that they should smile on the most magical day of the year ❤️ from children to the elderly. I am wanting to give each and every one of the amazing local people that use us a Christmas gift, whether it be a toy for a child, a hamper for a family, a box of biscuits for an elderly person. They will receive a delivered wrapped gift, not just from the hut but from the people of Chesterfield (because let’s face it, we are one amazing close knit community) I am asking if possible for donations, of toys, gift sets, wrapping paper, anything you feel could help. We have some amazing support from Morrison’s and Specsavers (more details to follow!) but please Chesterfield I am determined on this one and I think as a community we can certainly pull this off, I have started a just giving page for those who would like to donate, even £1 will make a difference, I will keep you all updated and show you just how well we do with this! Sharing for a wonderful lady, Joanne Longden-smith has given her precious time and hard work to Chesterfield Community Food Hut since the very start. Jo is an amazing registered childminder based in Brimington, I know how difficult it is to find the person to trust our little ones with. Jo is the most loving and trustworthy woman I have ever come across and goes above and beyond in every aspect of her childminding. Please share far and wide and let’s help support this diamond like she has supported Chesterfield ❤️❤️❤️

I’m a ofsted registered childminder with first aid etc based in brimington I have 18 years experience from newborn upwards plus was a nanny before I offer a homely relaxed place good rates including snacks and meals I have a car I offer pickup from inkersal primary I do have 2 dogs but they have their own space if you would like any information please feel free to message me I have place for under 5 and places for 5 and over I can also offer adhoc care if needed also I have a rear enclosed garden Thankyou

Christmas Appeal 🎄🤶🎅 Here at Chesterfield community food hut we will be doing our own special Christmas surprise, more details to come! However the amazing Suzanne Parsons is organising a raffle etc for Ashgate hospice, Suzy supported us and continues to do so, she is a wonderful lady with a heart of gold. As I am sure you are all aware, Ashgate hospice is an extraordinary place, they deserve all the help and recognition for their determination, hard work, kindness and support that they offer to us all day in day out if we should sadly need it. Please if you can help in any way, it would be very much appreciated beyond words. We are in this together ❤️

HALLOWEEN HELP !!

Unfortunately the children cannot go trick or treating so here at the hut we are preparing for a spooky treat for all (government guidelines will be strictly followed) more details to come but please please please does anyone know of anyone that has spare Halloween decorations or pumpkins that we can put to great use!
