Have you heard of Winter Fatigue? This time of year, you may notice your energy is lower than normal, this is both your physical energy and your emotional energy . Mainly caused by the shorter days and colder weather BUT there are things you can do to help feel better.
- eat good healthy, not processed foods. It's recommended to eat a rainbow of vegetables daily to ensure complete nutrition
- drink plenty of fluids - not tea and coffee as they contain caffeine which give you a temporary burst
- get moving. Exercise increases your energy levels. Wrap up and go for a brisk walk to get your lymphatic system moving
- book in for a massage. A massage releases endorphins into your bloodstream and helps to rebalance your emotional energy
- laughing and smiling are the best mood enhancers going. 😊
