What an absolutely amazing day, thanks to every Team Hebden elf who came to help out today and a giant Team Hebden thank you to the team from Barclays who not only funded the day, they came and wrapped, wrote cards and filled the little stockings and also helped create the magnificent new Team Hebden display in reception!

Thanks to Faye Bye for all her behind the scenes efforts, too. Also to our Chair of Governors, Ashley, who was out in the cold and rain last night gathering everygreens for the wreathmaking and Willow's Dad, Paul, and Team Hebden trustee, who was also out in the rain yesterday cutting the willow for the wreaths. There was talk of a parent wreathmaking event next year? You in?

**Attention Team Hebden Elves!**

Don't forget we're getting together tomorrow (Thursday!) to wrap the pupil gifts, fill little stockings, update the Team Hebden display in reception and a last minute change/addition of mini-wreathmaking with Elf Fee ❤️

It's been a busy few days for the TH Elves already but everything is looking good for a fun work party with a side order of craftiness. And a lovely buffet provided by the school kitchen, with added mince pies and 0% mulled wine.

And we'll end the day joining Hebden Harmonies in the hall for their carol concert.

Team Hebden Christmas Elves tomorrow! Are you coming?

We've had a last minute hiccup this week when the majority of the books bought for each pupil still hadn't arrived from The Works, despite being ordered in mid-November! 1.5 hours in a telephone queue to customer services to be told it was still being picked and couldn't possibly arrive in time for Elves day, and no they couldn't expedite it. We will be sending a complaint email!

Team Hebden rallied round and managed to get replacements, mostly thanks to the wonderful staff at The Works at Grand Junction Retail park in Crewe, who dug deep in the store room to find us suitable books. thank you Sue and Cheryl!

We're looking forward to wrapping them all and sending them home with each pupil ❤️📖📚

We have the Team Hebden Christmas Elves day for Team Hebden parents and carers on December 18th, we will get together from 11am to wrap a gift and write a card for each child, do some Christmas crafting together, enjoy a buffet and spend some time making and updating the Team Hebden Display in school, ending with carols in the hall at 2.15pm.

🎶 A working party with Christmas cheer and some crafting, there will be Christmas music and mince pies :) 🎶

A team from Barclays are very kindly volunteering their time to come and help and will be donating £500 to cover the cost, which is amazing.

If you think you'll be able to come and be a Christmas Elf (costumes very optional 🤣), or fancy some Christmas crafting, please RSVP so we know how many to cater for and which room to use! Everyone welcome, the more the merrier.

Look at all these fabulous wreaths! Thank you to Flowers by Jenny Penny for a fabulous wreathmaking evening for staff, and for the very generous donations of wreaths for the Team Hebden Balloon Race!

One will be heading to the parent fundraiser for the Hydropool happening tomorrow, the CASH BINGO at school, where there will also be a tombola and on-the-day raffle with some great prizes available. Do pop along if you're available, from 10-1pm, eyes down 11.30am!

We've just collected the fabulous mixed Christmas jams and preserves from our good friends at Mrs Darlington's.

Always much coveted among our Team Hebden Christmas prizes, they've kindly donated a box of 12 for the last 4 years.
