"Couldn't be happier with the care my mum is recieving at Gilby House. She has the best 24/7 care, the staff are truly amazing and treat her like their own mum. We are welcomed with open arms, we are always offered a meal with mum. Mum loves eating with us so this is lovely. Mum's behaviour can be very violent and challenging and they deal with this brilliantly"

"Gilby House has been a fantastic home for my mum and has allowed me to breathe again without worrying about my mum 24/7 and her welfare and the welfare of others. My mum is very challenging with end stage dementia and sever behavioural issues at times, but the staff seem to have never ending patience and understanding with her however challenging. I am eternally grateful to have found Gilby House to provide my mum with safe loving care at an extremely difficult time for me personally following the death of my dad"

We enjoyed an afternoon out to a Valentine's disco.
Diana made this IDSI buffet-style food so that one of our residents wouldn't feel left out.
Honestly, she is the best as she was able to create these amazing buffet pieces for them without the equipment that she needed, definitely going the extra mile to ensure he had the best.

Diana did a brilliant job preparing an IDDSI meal for one of our residents.Well done, Diana, it looked very appetising.

Gilby and Manor had a joint Christmas party at the Rangers Club in Winterton with a singer and disco as well as a three-course lunch.

This was not the easiest thing to arrange, and special thanks to Joanne Smith and Chris Cox for arranging the event, along with the staff who all helped on the day to make it the best day. Also, thanks to Nigel, the driver who helped with transport and much more. Because of all your hard work, the residents had an amazing night!

We had a lovely Boxing Day lunch of "Picky Bits" with a variety of sides to choose from.

The wonderful Kirsty Sargeant also made a special lunch following the IDSSI training for one of our residents.

The residents had a fabulous Christmas Day. A big Thank You to everybody who made it happen!
