I went to see Karina today . We met at the conference last year and we have been meeting up since.

We get together for clinical supervision. This is a requirement of any nurse in their specialist field.

Together we researched prescribing guidelines, injection technique, record keeping, latest treatments and conferences.

Networking is an essential part of being an advanced aesthetic nurse. Keeping up to date and sharing information is an essential part of my service in clinic.

Thank you Karina for having me over and looking forward to our next meeting.

Did you know…
The UK has some of the highest prevalence rates of allergic conditions in the world.

I recently completed basic life support training.
This is mandatory every year!

This helps me to spot the early signs of a reaction in my clinic and treat it fast.

In my career I have also trained in intermediate and advanced life support.

Last year I was involved in a resuscitation in the community which lasted for 1 hour!

This is one of the ways I help to keep you safe in my clinic.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Where the hell is Diane? 👀

If you’ve noticed my clinic diary looking a little… suspiciously empty in places, there’s a reason for that.

Over the coming months my availability is going to be significantly reduced while I focus on some exciting projects behind the scenes (more on that very soon 👀).
What this means in practical terms is that my appointment slots will be more limited, so if you prefer to see me personally it’s a good idea to book ahead rather than waiting until the last minute.

But there is some very good news…

Many of you will have already met Claire, who has joined the clinic and brings a very similar level of clinical experience and aesthetic philosophy to the team. She’s highly skilled, meticulous, and shares the same approach to natural, considered results that we’re known for.
One of the advantages of having another experienced injector in clinic is that:
• I’m able to personally hand over your treatment history and plan
• Claire has access to your full medical and treatment records
• We can discuss cases together when needed
• And sometimes a fresh set of eyes reviewing a treatment plan can actually lead to even better outcomes
Aesthetics should never be about one person working in isolation. The best clinics work as a collaborative medical team, and this is exactly the direction we’re moving in.
So if my diary looks a bit sparse, don’t panic — you’re still in very safe hands.
And if you’ve been meaning to book in with me…
this might be your sign to grab a slot before they disappear.
